Release of Fundamental Responsibilities of Recognized Statistical Agencies and Units

New regulations clarifying roles and responsibilities of statistical agencies in the “Foundations for Evidence-Based Policymaking Act of 2018” were released on October 11, 2024. The regulations that have been under development since the law was enacted will have a significant impact on National Center for Education Statistics operations.
